A memorial service at Aston House would not include the formal parts of our Traditional Funeral, with no procession from the family home and no Coffin present at the service. It could however include your chosen music, eulogies and tributes, a visual tribute on the large screens and even the option of live streaming the service.

A Memorial service at Aston House would take place on a separate occasion, following an Unattended Direct Cremation, so it would also be possible to have your loved ones Ashes present for the service.

Many people who experience an ‘Unattended Direct Cremation’ regret not having the opportunity to celebrate their loved one’s life with relatives, friends and colleagues at a Funeral Service. In many cases it is the deceased’s own decision to choose this type of Funeral and not the wishes of those left behind.

For this reason, we are now offering families the chance to hold a memorial service in our Aston House Service Hall at a later date.
